“Born Opeyemi Kayode Jnr on August 08 , 1990.Stylezz is the 3rd of 4 children to the Kayodes. Ope; which Stylezzis called by family and closed friends, was born in Lagos the former capital of Nigeria. Lagos was home to Stylezzuntil the age of 5. At the age of 5, Ope and the Kayodes relocated to New York City, And it became home toStylezz ever since.By the time he was 11, Stylezz began his destined Journey into the art of creating music. Like many great artists, He started in the church, singing and learning how to play various instruments, but he quickly gravitated towards the drums. Over the years he developed his skills and grew as a musician.During his teen years he continued playing drums with different bands, doing shows at churches, weddings, birthday parties and more. In 2011, Stylezz and two of his friends created the group: Fully Loaded Music Group (FLMG). It was during this period that Ope coined the moniker Stylezz (with a ZZ). In a short period of time the group FLMG received modest success from their songs, and their energy filled performances, which included opening for Nigeria’s finest artists and performing at the world famous SOBs in New York City.About a year later, the group FLMG decided to split, with all the members keeping their relationship with each other as not only artist, but also as friends intact. Stylezz saw this as an opportunity to pursue a solo career and quickly released his single “Change Your Currency”, where he remixed the beat form Sauce kid’s hit: “Carolina”. “Change your currency” was a smash hit in the Nigerian club scene in New York City. Although his sound is distinctively R&B/ Hip-hop influenced, he manages to infuse a lot of African tunes into his work giving it an Afrobeat feel.Following in the footsteps of artist that influenced him such as Dagrin, Wale, M.I and Fela. Stylezz is set to conquer the Entertainment industry. He is currently working on His EP ”The One To be Known” with his producer Space Face and other various producers . “Here is G’BORI WA” by stylezz enjoy.” download here
