The name behind a number of hits we’ve heard in the past and most recently , his 1st official single ‘Take Over’ in which he featured top singer LACE ! After leaving Nigeria back in his teens , he came back in the winter of 2012 to make his name in his Fatherland just like so many A-list artistes today !
This time he’s bringing a fusion of traditional music and our modern pop music to make a banger titled ‘MU’JO’. A classy and groovy beat which was murdered by ace producer ‘CHEEPHO On D Beat’. The man behind most of the tracks on 9ICE’s ‘Tradition’ Album !
With his video and more singles set to be out in some months , we can only sit back and watch this young man blow us away with his wonderful music !

The growth of Hip-hop in Nigeria has witnessed a lot of trail blazers
and game changers that have stepped up the game with different
controversial forms; however, no matter how the story is being told, the
name Ólaitan Olanipekun aka DAGRIN will always matter.
The name still remains strong in the foundation of Nigeria’s hip hop game especially the Yoruba rap scene. It’s been three years since he passed on, but “oloro” as fondly called by his associates is still with us.
So in memory of keeping the name alive,KOSOFO ENTERTAINMENT is bringing DAGRIN back from the grave with “BLOOD MONEY MIX TAPE”. This Mixtape was a brain child of the late rapper whose dreams was shattered in a fatal accident that claimed his life three years ago.
The BLOOD MONEY MIX TAPE comprises 11 tracks, 4 skits ,samples of his previous works and some of his never heard of works.
The Mixtape will be produced by skilled producer and late rapper’s close friend SOSSICK and also on board is Nigeria’s Beat Master and Mix Wizard LAY-LOW.
