Runtown(real name Douglas Jack-Agu) is a Nigerian singer/songwriter and producer signed under Penthauze/Sputnetand currently works with Tommy Rotem of Beluga Heights USA (work with likes of Jason Derulo & Sean Kingston) as a songwriter.
Despite the fact that his singles ’1980′ and ‘High on You’ were officially released last year but over-looked, we decided to re-introduce these budding smash hits to you. ’1980′ which is already blazing the charts and dancefloors in different terrains is one banger your ears cannot ignore and with a crisp video directed by Matt Max to give it the kick, there is no stopping us parting like it’s ’1980′. On the other hand ’High On You’, which features Jamaican-American crooner, Laza Morgan (best known for his single ‘This Girl’ off the ‘Step Up 3D Soundtrack’); is a scenario where Jamaica meets Nigeria and the result is this funky love song.
